About Me.

I'm Samprati, a designer and strategist based in Potsdam, Germany.

I've always been drawn to the messy middle: where a problem isn't fully defined yet, and design is the tool that makes it clearer. Before I make anything, I ask questions. I research, I map, I find the patterns. Then I design.

My work spans brand identity, editorial design, data visualisation and strategic frameworks. I've worked with NGOs, studio, startup founders and individual clients, taking projects from early research all the way to final delivery.

My MA in Innovation Design Management pushed me further into how design creates systems change, not just visual outputs.

I care about work that has consequences. And I'm always curious about what's next.

This is what I work on:

Brand & Strategic Design

Building brand systems from positioning to visuals. Research led, strategy driven, and designed to scale consistently across touchpoints.

Data Visualisation & Graphics

Making complex information legible. Infographics, frameworks and visual systems that surface patterns and help people make decisions.

Editorial & Typeface Design

Layouts grounded in grids and hierarchy. Turning research and long-form content into something readable, structured and balanced.

Photography & Visual Direction

Capturing culture, people and everyday moments. Light, composition and atmosphere tied to thoughtful visual thinking.

A few more details...

What role do you see yourself growing into?
icon

I want to grow into someone who sits at the intersection of research, strategy and design, contributing to work that creates real change.

What would make you excited to join a team?
icon

A team that trusts people with responsibility early. I want to work with people who challenge ideas, support each other, and care about getting better, not just getting by.

Are there specific industries you're drawn to?
icon

I'm drawn to work where design has real consequences: sustainability, social impact, healthcare, etc. I want my skills to contribute to challenges that matter beyond the screen.

What kind of teams do you work best with?
icon

Environments where feedback is part of the process, not an afterthought. Teams that value craft, question decisions, and push for clarity over trend.

How do you handle critique?
icon

I take it seriously. Critique helps me see what I missed and makes the work stronger. I'd rather get honest feedback early than polite silence that leads nowhere.

What's your approach when a project doesn't have a clear brief?
icon

I start by asking questions, a lot of them. I map out what we know, what we don't, and where the gaps are. A messy brief becomes clear when you break it down.

How do you balance creative exploration with deadlines?
icon

I explore within structure. I set time to test ideas, but I know when to commit and move forward. Good work comes from discipline, not endless iteration.

Something I live by

01

Understand first. Design second.

02

Build systems, not just visuals.

03

Culture shapes design.

04

Questions are part of the process.

05

The details are the design.

How I work

01

Listen

Understand the context, the people, the constraints. Ask questions first.

02

Structure

Map out what needs to exist and why, before opening a file.

03

Design

The visual language grows from the structure. Identity shaped by the system.

04

Refine

Feedback is built in, not tagged on. Iterate until it holds together.

05

Deliver

Consistent, documented, built to work beyond the file.
